I am having a 17x31 in ground installed in Pensacola Fl. to be swimming by Memorial Day. I am also having a Heat Pump of 125,000 btu's with Titanium coils. Question I have concerns the 'Ozone' system, or Salt water system. I have been advised that both are good-depending on which salesman I speak with, but I can't find a good comparison anywhere. Can you help?

Dear Mr. Wilson: Thank you for writing to me. I hope that you and your family are well. Someday people are going to look back and say that this was the dark ages for pools where people went to the store and bought liquid chlorine to bring home in their cars to put in the pool. That much I know. I have been distributing the salt systems for years like the Aquarite from Hayward and the Aquapure from Jandy. So far everyone has loved them. No stinging eyes and not the over whelming chlorine smell. The Ozone might also be good but I have no experience with them. I am really a heater guy and have been surounded by them for over 24 years. You might try one of the pool forums to talk to people who have experienced both. Try: http://www.poolforum.com . I hope that helps. Thank You for your quick reply. Since I am having a Heat Pump installed, your site will be locked in as a Favorite and visited frequently. It has already proven to be a valuable resource for me. Had I the expierience of buying a pool prior to now, I would have probably bought the Heat Pump from you but will certainly check your site before I do anything else.
The specific name of my HP isn't known other than it's black, has Titanium and is 125,000 BTUS. The pool will be screened in and my house faces West. Anything I should know? Again, you are first already. Thanks,

Dear Mr. Wilson: Thank you for writing back to me. They are a new company out of Ohio. I have seen a lot of reconditioned AquaPros on E-Bay. 25 at last count. I am not sure what that means. In Florida that have a 5 year parts and labor warranty and outside of Florida they have a one year labor and 5 year parts. Let me know if you have any other questions.
