I have had a Focus Temp heat pump for 2 years, and I blow the water out of it when I close it for the winter. This morning I hooked it up to the water source, and when I turned on the pump,  I saw a large amount of water gushing out from under the tank looking thing inside the heater. Should I take this apart to see where the leak is. It might be cheaper and then order the parts?

Thank you for writing to me. It sounds like water froze and the heat exchanger cracked. You will have to find out where exactly the water is coming from. If it is a heat exchanger then you have to decide if you want a new heater or want to pay to have if changed. I hate when this happens.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.
