Hey y’all,
We just bought a new home with an inground pool. We unfortunately didn’t know much about pools before this purchase, and now that spring season is approaching we are having some trouble. When turning the pool heater on the fans start blowing, then it ignites, and shortly after we hear some cranking as if something was stuck in it. The sound comes from the two water pipes on the right of the heater. We then get HF, SF codes from the heater. Should I open the pipes and try to see what’s in it? Or should I just dish out the money for a pool repairman to come.

Thanks for the help!
